Today we are shining the spotlight on our Donor Care Coordinator, Upasana Datta Pal!
Upasana joined The Mississauga Food Bank in 2022, and in collaboration with her team, plays a key role in processing donations and ensuring they get to where they need to go. She is also on the front line when it comes to communicating with our valued donors and is often the kind voice you’ll hear when making an inquiry about your donation.
Seeing the community come together towards a common goal always inspires Upasana.
“It feels good to see everyone wanting to help the community. I enjoy hearing donors talk about how much they appreciate what the organization does and wanting to continue helping neighbours across the city.”
Despite working through a higher volume of work and requests during the 2022 Holiday Food Drive, she found time to share encouraging donor stories.
“One donor was so pleased when she called to discuss fundraising with me that she doubled her gift in support of vulnerable neighbours! That motivated me a lot.”
