“I get far more than I give every day.”
When Patricia retired from her job as a teacher a little over a year ago, she knew she wanted to dedicate her time to giving back. She reached out to us here at The Mississauga Food Bank. “The food bank appealed to me because before I retired, I was one of the teachers running the Breakfast Club and food drives at my school, so I had been involved a bit in the area.”
As a Food Sorting Leader, Patricia loves training new volunteers and working with corporate groups.
“I have met many wonderful, unique, kind, funny, and dedicated people who give their time and care. I get far more than I give every day.”
